The Journal of Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines (JPP) is now the signature journal of the Society of Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines (SPP). JPP began publishing under the John Wiley & Sons logo in 1997, was taken over by SPP at the end of 2001 and since January 2009 has been published by World Scientific Publishing Company in a joint SPP/WSPC venture. The number of manuscripts published by JPP has increased steadily in recent years while the cost for an individual or library subscription to JPP has remained extremely low as compared to the often exorbitant rates being charged for subscriptions to many well-know specialty journals that are published by for-profit commercial publishing companies.

Participants of ICPP-6 should consider obtaining a personal or library subscription to JPP and are also invited to submit a manuscript to the journal on the topic of their ICPP-6 presentation. These papers will be peer-reviewed (as are all papers) but will be handled on a priority basis if received within two months before or after the meeting.
