Student Assistance Grants
In the past a certain percentage of the budget has been dedicated towards assisting students who wish to attend the biannual meeting and this will be also the case at ICPP-4 in Rome.
Monies have now been located or set aside which are sufficient to fund a significant number of student registration grants for the Moscow meeting and applications for student assistance to attend ICPP-5 will be evaluated on a first come, first served basis using the following set of priorities:
a) must be a student at time of the meeting
b) must be a student member of SPP at time of award decision
c) must have completed and paid ICPP-5 registration
Application Procedure:
1) Submit maximum one page request which includes the following:
applicants name, institution and all contact numbers
name and contact numbers of thesis advisor
a 2-3 line summary of applicants current research project
a 2-3 line reason of why applicant wishes to attend ICPP-5
2) Attach copy of the poster abstract submitted to ICPP-5
Funding:
Funding will be provided as a reimbursement in Moscow
