Cheap(er) Hotels and purchasing a banquet ticket or adding an accompanying person

1) Purchasing a banquet ticket or adding an accompanying person for those who already registered on the SPP site is easily done on the Monomax website which can be accessed through accommodations or at the on-line booking address below.

http://www.icpp5.ru/?page=onlinebooking

2) All accompanying persons need to register if they are to be given the visa and obtain a hotel booking through Monomax and this is also done at the above address.

3) Once a hotel is booked and paid for, the needed visa letter will be sent. It cannot be sent prior to the obtaining of a hotel booking and payment. Note also that once issued the visa cannot be extended so you must pay attention to the actual times of the meeting which starts on Sunday night with a welcome reception and ends at about 6 pm on Friday.

4) A visa letter cannot be sent without completion of the needed form, also found on the above website. Each person must fill out this form and the dates in Russia must correspond to your hotel booking dates. If you plan to travel elsewhere in Russia before or after the meeting you should correspond with Monomax on this subject.

5) Cheaper Hotels - this is an important point for those in need. Several hotels have been found which are appropriate for foreign visitors and an easy metro ride to the meeting but we need to immediately have an "unofficial count" of how many rooms to reserve before this hotel can be added to the list. Please read what is said about one of the hotels and then write to me at the address below with your name and number of people in your group in order to unofficially reserve a room. After that you will be sent further directions.
